Hello this is a great plugin, but I think it lacks the option to redirect.

I mean, when a user clicks on the link corresponding to restricted content for him, WP displays the page 404, it is best to redirect to a page configurable set to a file or from the administrator

When a user or group is not authorized to view a page the menu link is still visible. If you click on the page you get wordpress 404 page instead of a friendly Access Denied Page. I have had to add Page Not found or Requires Login to my 404 page to explain to visitors.

I tried creating a Private Template that requires login before the plugin loads to display a friendly reminder but this plugin over-rides it.

It is also possible this plugin is the reason my page changes flash white background between page views.

Still, I need this plugins functionality so thank you very much for the work and have a Merry Christmas!

hye thanks for the plugin

but i want to know the if i have created a website which is an advocate profile and we are posting about every advocate in separate post so if i want to give my every advocate to edit their profile info like email id or mobile number so is it possible with your plugin to do that..
i mean how i can allow my advocates to edit only their own profile not others online.

do you hve any plugin like that..

plz tell me…

I am not able to reproduce this bug.

I have two users. User1 and User2. Both users are members of Group1.
I write one post. User1 is selected – User2 is not selected. No groups are selected.
When not logged in, the post is hidden, as you would expect.
When User1 logs in, the post is visible.
When User2 logs in, the post is not visible.

Please observe, that any user that can edit a post or page, will see it, no matter if it is protected or not.

Thanks, in fact, the structure seems ok cause the user sees what he needs to see but the link to his page is broken and call a 404. Well … Hope some day

Hi Andrias,
Thank you very much for your plugin!

However, I’m experiencing an issue: a user named “Bob”, who is an “Author” and member of the “myNamedAuthor” group can actually change any users membership in the “Settings->wpNamedUsers groups”. Wich of course gives him the ability to view pretty much everything

Could it be some kind of misconfiguration in my WordPress?
