I’ve started developing a plugin for WordPress that will make it possible to allow named users to access specific content on a wordpress blog system.
Features:
- Select users who will have access to posts/pages when writing/editing.
- Quickly set permissions of many posts/pages without opening each one.
- Copy permissions from one user to another.
- Hide content of protected posts/pages.
- Exclude protected posts/pages from appearing in the menu.
- Exclude protected posts/pages from appearing in feeds.

hi. Thanks for plugin
perfect.
Regards
I have looked everywhere for a plugin as this, I have many clients to which I wish to create specific sections for on our site that other clients or anybody else can access. And your plugin seems to be the answer, however when I activate it I get nothing, I mean once activated, I go to the admin section and click on it and I get a blank screen. I’m using ver 2.6, any ideas on how to get this to work? I’m not very code savvy either. Thank you kindly.
I also get the following error on the site when I activate the plugin.
500 Internal Server Error
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or
misconfiguration and was unable to complete
your request.
Please contact the server administrator,
support@netfirms.com and inform them of the time the error occurred,
and anything you might have done that may have
caused the error.
More information about this error may be available
in the server error log.
Could you please provide a little more detailed information? 500 internal server error can be a lot of things. Please provide the actual error message.
Hi, and really thanks for the plugin! It’s very useful for a medium intranet.
And what about to hide content of protected categories, tags and links?
Thanks,
Alessandro
Hi, I just uploaded your plugin, and it seems to be working pretty much okay for creating new pages and posts.
Unfortunately, it gives me a 500 internal server error when I try to enter edit.php or edit-pages.php. Is there anything I can do about this?
Internal Server Error is not specific enough. I can’t fix it, unless I get some “real” error messages.
This is a good plugin. Have you planned to extend it to categories? And one thing I noticed was that after setting up a few permissions I would have liked to see what kind of permissions I have already made. Maybe a list of users and user groups showing their pages and posts.
